menu_book About this test
What is the DISC personality test?
DISC is a behavioural style model rooted in the work of psychologist William Moulton Marston, whose 1928 book Emotions of Normal People described four patterns in how people act and respond to their surroundings. Today the model describes four styles: Dominance (D), Influence (I), Steadiness (S) and Conscientiousness (C). It is one of the most widely used frameworks for talking about behaviour at work, especially in team building, leadership development, sales and customer-facing roles.
How this test finds your style
Your DISC style is identified using two simple axes. The first is pace: are you more outgoing and fast-paced, or more reserved and measured? The second is priority: do you focus first on tasks, results and accuracy, or on people, relationships and harmony? Outgoing and task-focused points to the Driver (D); outgoing and people-focused to the Motivator (I); reserved and people-focused to the Supporter (S); reserved and task-focused to the Analyst (C).
How it works
The test has 28 short statements about everyday and workplace situations and takes about 8 minutes. Rate how much you agree with each one. There are no right or wrong answers; answer as you usually behave, not as you think you should.
What you get
Your result names your primary style and explains your strengths, typical blind spots, how you communicate, how to work with each of the other three styles and practical tips for growth.
An honest note: this is a tool for self-reflection and better conversations, not a clinical or psychological diagnosis. Everyone uses all four styles to some degree, and behaviour changes with context.
